Over 300 exhibitors and 7500 trade visitors are expected to participate in the initiative which has earned the reputation as Africa’s automotive intellectual capitol.

Project Director Andrew Binning said the event which had attracted significant international interest was part of the Gauteng Provincial Government’s plan to drive investment and trade in the sector.

“We are excited to be taking SAAW to Gauteng for the first time, thanks to the host partnership of the AIDC and Gauteng Province and while the initiative remains inclusive and international in focus, both SAAW and the Gauteng economy is expected to benefit significantly,’’ Binning said.
